The medieval Islamic city of Siyasa or Medina Siyâsa is located in
Cieza (Murcia, Spain). It is one of the best preserved medieval sites
from the Islamic period in Europe. The walls of some buildings still
remain more than two meters high and in the excavations numerous
remains of paintings and plaster arches were found. Some of these
arches have been completely restored in the neighboring Siyâsa Museum.
Most of these arches were used to decorate the interior courtyards and
balconies of the homes of the wealthiest families. The rich decoration
of these arches reminds us of the degree of refinement that Islamic
art reached in the Middle Ages.

3D model was created and textured in Reality Capture software using 133 images; additional processing was completed in Geomagic Wrap and InstantMeshes.
