Mural paintig from the site of Tarraco (Tarragona, Spain). Fresco painting depicting a peacok, the symbol of inmortality, and the goddess Juno. It decorated the wall of a patio that contained the lararium – the domestic worship area- of a luxurious domus in the Tarraco port suburb. Dated between the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D.
