These architectural remains are possibly the wall of the quibla and
the mihrab of the private oratory of the Nasir Alcázar in the Islamic
city of Mursiya (Murcia, Spain). This oratory, which has been dated to
the 12th century, appeared richly decorated, retaining color in many
areas. Originally it was part of the residence of the Muslim kings of
Murcia. Currently these remains are under the church of San Juan de
Dios.
