In 2019, GDH conducted a campaign in central Alentejo with 3D documentation in 13 locations. In the Évora region, we documented the Cromeleques dos Almendres, Vale Maria do Meio and Portela de Mogos, the Anta Grande do Zambujeiro, and the Roman Temple and the Museum in the city of Évora. In Montemor-o-Novo, the Anta Grande da Comenda da Igreja, the Castle of Montemor-o-Novo, the Gruta do Escoural and the Museu do Grupo dos Amigos de Montemor-o-Novo were documented. GDH also documented the Roman Villa of São Cucufate in Vidigueira.
The campaign in Portugal was the result of a partnership with the Municipalities of Évora, Montemor-o-Novo, Vidigueira, Arraiolos and Estremoz, the Regional Directorate of Culture of Alentejo, and with the University of Évora.
