Corbelled Buildings

Found in the Karoo, these distinctive stone buildings were constructed by early settlers using dry-stone techniques. Corbelled buildings are recognized for their dome-shaped roofs and form part of South Africa’s rural architectural heritage. Spatially documented by GDHA in November 2023.
