Small jug without decoration from Calatrava la Vieja, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Christian period, mid-13th century. This artifact was found in the 2009 excavations in the south-east sector of the medina, next to the western wall of the alcázar. This vessel inherits the tradition of an earlier type of jar from the Almohad period, and has a finish treatment typical of the Castilian pieces of Calatrava la Vieja. Catalog No. CV 09 26 880 28.
