A part of a corridor in the upper level of the catacombs shows an arched niche (with a recess for a lamp in the bottom) and 2 rectangular holes (loculi). The niche is decorated with the bust of a deceased woman in prayer position. She is flanked by two opened books with the names of the four evangelists (John, Mark, Matthew and Luke). Above her head is a Christogram. She is named as Bitalia. Inscription: BITALIA IN PACE (in peace). The white letters (Latin) on the red field above the niche are hard to read. The paintings are currently dated in the 5th-6th century AD.
