Calatrava La Vieja is a Medieval fortress located in Carrión de Calatrava (Castilla-La Mancha, Spain). The site was occupied as early as the 8th Century A.D. and through the early 15th Century by both Christians and Muslims at different periods. Calatrava La Vieja was the home to the first military order of the region: the Order of Calatrava.
