Inscription located in the Archaeological Park of Carranque (Toledo, Spain), on one of the Roman columns preserved inside a large monumental building that has been interpreted as a Palace (Palatium). Numerous inscriptions in Latin and Greek have been identified on the building’s columns, the interpretation of which is still the subject of debate among experts. These inscriptions were made on large 4 meter high Roman marble columns that were carved from a single block of stone. Everything seems to indicate that the marble to carve the columns comes from the Eastern Mediterranean.
