Chiesa della Madonna delle Nevi is a 16th Century church located in Santa Fiora, Tuscany. Prior to its construction, there was a tabernacle with an image of the Virgin; for this reason, the church was built in this place in 1576. On the facade there is a Robbiana with the Ss. Flora and Lucilla. In 1999 some important frescos made by the painter Francesco Nasini (1640), were discovered on the interior walls of the church. Bibliographical reference: L. 3D model made in Reality Capture using Leica RTC 360 terrestrial laser scans and terrestrial and drone-based images. Additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap and Meshlab.

This project is a collaboration between Global Digital Heritage and a team of medieval archaeologists from the University of Florence coordinated by Professor Michele Nucciotti. We thank Don Gino Governi, parish priest of Santa Fiora, for making this project a success.
