Opisthographic inscription from the site of Tarraco (Tarragona, Spain). Fragment of a plaque with an inscription on both sides. The first refers to a statue dedicated by the town of Tarraco to Pompey in 71 BC. In 49 BC, when Julius Caesar called a meeting of the provincial assembly in Tarraco, this statue was removed and the plaque was turned round and carved with a new dedication to P. Mucius Scaevola, Juliu Caesar´s deputy. From the area of the Tarraco Colonial Forum.
