Heritage Research Scientist and Project Manager in Italy

Diletta Bigiotti has completed the professional post-graduate Specialization in Archaeological Heritage at the University of Florence, where she also earned a master’s degree in Medieval Archaeology and her bachelor’s degree in Art History and Preservation of Cultural Heritage. She is specialized in Medieval Archaeology and in archaeological excavation, stratigraphic analysis of historical buildings and constructive techniques, archaeological data processing, in excavation contests and archaeological research both in Tuscany and Armenia (Vayots Dzor sites). Since 2019 she has been involved in GDH’s projects in Italy, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Panama. Her specialties include data heritage documentation with photogrammetry, laser scanners and the processing of 3D models both for museum collections and archaeological sites.
