Esperanza holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Higher School of Industrial Engineers of Zaragoza (Spain). She specializes in terrestrial photogrammetry applied to cultural heritage and industrial manufacturing, as well as in the study and development of neural networks and advanced computing. She is a career civil servant with experience in various branches of the Spanish public administration. She has been a professor of Mechanical Manufacturing and Industrial Organization at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. She has also served as the Head of the Energy and Industry Section for the Government of Castilla-La Mancha; Technical Advisor of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Tourism of the Government of Spain; and as the Director General of Infrastructure and Urban Services for the City Council of Ciudad Real. Currently, she serves as the Provincial Director for Ciudad Real in the Public Employment System of the Ministry of Labor of the Government of Spain. She is a member of the research team at Global Digital Heritage, working on digitization projects in Portugal, Spain, and Italy.
