Miloš Lukač

Heritage Research Scientist

Miloš Lukač has worked in 3D technologies and cultural heritage since 2006 and in more than 14 countries around the world. Milos specializes in a variety of 3D data collection techniques including terrestrial photogrammetry from medium sized sensors to the smallest industrial ones. Other area include terrestrial laser scanning (FARO Focus series, Leica RTC360 + P40, Z+F 5010x,) Close range 3D scanning (Artec Spider and Leo) and structured light scanners (various makes from inexpensive to industrial grade). He is also a UAV pilot for photogrammetric aquisition of  larger structures.

He has used these technologies to document everything from small heritage objects in museums to entire heritage sites. He has extensive experience with postprocessing gathered data in various software packages including Reality Capture (internal alpha tester), Leica Cyclone, Faro Scene, geomagic suites, Cloud Compare, 3DS MAX, Metashape, Zbrush and many others. He is active in onsite trainings and workshops and courses, as well as providing training for law enforcement (forensics). He works occasionally for film industry.
