Jeff Du Vernay holds a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology from the University of South Florida, and has worked in 3D technologies and cultural heritage since 2009 in more than 15 countries around the world. Jeff specializes in a variety of 3D data collection techniques including Terrestrial Laser Scanning (FARO Focus3D, RTC360, Z&F 5016), close-range 3D scanning (Artec Leo & Space Spider, FARO Arm), and photogrammetry, and he has applied these 3D documentation methods in both museum and archaeological site landscape settings. Jeff is skilled in a number of software applications including Reality Capture, FARO SCENE, Cyclone, Geomagic Wrap, Meshlab, CloudCompare, Bentley Pointools and Context Capture, Arena4D, Metashape, Substance Designer, Zbrush, and others, and has taught a number of 3D technology workshops and training courses.
