In the central sector of the archaeological site of al Khudaira 2 (Sharjah, UAE) there is a homogeneous and coherent group of burials, formed by three very close and similar tombs, in a good state of conservation, with well-defined geometry and typologically similar. One of them (T20) was excavated in February 2020 by the Spanish archaeological mission of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with funding from the Sharjah Archaeology Authority. Because of their typology, these tombs resemble those of the Hafit type from the Early Bronze Age (III millennium BC), although the results of the archaeological excavation suggest a possible reuse in the II millennium BC. Project ID Al Khudaira 02.
