Remains of an ancient stone building over a promontory 20 m high that overlooks the surrounding plane and the farmland, located in the Jebel Buhais, within the municipality of al Madam. It was first identified by an Iraqi archaeological mission in 1973, and explored again in 1992 and 1993 by a French research team led by Michel Mouton. Archaeological excavations were carried out in 1994 and 1995 by a French-Spanish mission. Inside the building were found a few potsherds dated in Iron Age III, and others of Islamic vessels dated between 14th and 18th centuries. Building measures 50 x 20 m, it is built of rough stone, and divided inside into two different sections: a large rectangular courtyard to the West, and a group of six rooms to the East. It was restored a few years ago by the Sharjah Archaeology Authority.
