The burial chamber is located on the upper level of the catacombs. Only in one case, the painting of an arched niche (above 1 tomb) is well preserved. It shows the saint Gennaro (middle), flanked by candleholders and two deceased females, the woman Cominia (right) und the female child Nicatiola (left). All figures are depicted in prayer position.

The painting is currently dated in the 5th century AD. The catacombs itself were used for burials from the 2nd century AD to the Middle Ages.
