The ancient Islamic city of Siyasa or Medina Siyâsa is located in
Cieza (Murcia, Spain). It is one of the best preserved medieval sites
from the Islamic period in Europe. The walls of some buildings still
remain more than two meters high and in the excavations numerous
remains of paintings and plaster arches were found. Some of these
arches have been completely restored in the neighboring Siyâsa Museum.

Although it is calculated that the city must have had around 700
houses, approximately 19 that form a small neighborhood have currently
been excavated and conditioned for the visit. These houses would
belong to the wealthy class of the city since many of them had
viewpoints with beautiful views of the valley.

Model was made in Reality Capture usuing both FARO Focus3D scan data and drone-based photogrammetry. Additional processing was completed in Meshlab, CloudCompare, and Blender
